Power supply snapped for 22 hours not restored yet

Srinagar, Nov 04: Though light to moderate snowfall from Nov 1-3 was predicted a month ago but the power development department and departments did nothing to be in a state of preparedness to meet any expected eventuality.
According to KNS, people from almost all parts of Kashmir valley including Srinagar are upset and angered to see power remaining snapped for more than 22 hours with PDD officials invisible in ground for restoration of services. Ironically the snow clearance machines were seen off the roads and it took people hours together to cover 4-5 kilometres distance.
The students and teachers taking board examination were trapped in the midway for hours together and could reach homes by mid night only. (KNS)
