Mobile Internet suspended in south Kashmir

Srinagar: The government on Saturday evening suspended mobile internet services in south Kashmir ahead of the upcoming civic polls in the Valley.

Mobile internet has been suspended in four districts of south Kashmir, Kashmir Reader correspondent from Anantnag Suhail Shah said on phone. Suspension of mobile internet comes four days after low speed internet services were restored in Shopian and Pulwama. The districts stayed off line to curb circulation of resignations posted by policemen on social media platforms.

After the net services were suspended today evening, rumours started circulating in south Kashmir.
