LeT pays tributes to slain Sopore militants
Srinagar, Sep 26: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah while paying tributes to militants killed in Sopore said: “the freedom fighters fought the battle up to 15 hours in which 3 Indian forces personnel were killed and 15 others severely injured”.
LeT spokesperson Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying, “Today, hundreds of people are ready to pick the guns of their fallen brothers. Those who still do not believe this must witness the funeral processions of freedom fighters.”
“The people put their lives to risk and express ultimate love for their mujahideen by attending the funeral processions in masses and pay salutations to freedom fighters as they deserve,” he said.
Mehmood Shah thanked the people for their “immense love” and said “it is the same brotherhood and harmony that attracts the freedom fighters to battlefields”.
“Indian forces will continue to find sorrow and grief in their homes until the unjust and illegal occupation ends,” Lashkar chief added. (GNS)
