Kashmir tickets agents offer 100 air tickets at low fares to patients, elderly stranded in Jammu

It comes after the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway remained closed for a week due to heavy snowfall and incessant rains in the region.

Kashmir Tickets Agents Forum Wednesday announced 100 air tickets at “low fares” to facilitate return to Kashmir of patients suffering from critical ailments and elderly persons, who were stuck in Jammu due to closure of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, the only all weather road linking the Kashmir Valley with the rest of the country, was reopened for one-way traffic on Tuesday after remaining closed for a week due to heavy snowfall and incessant rains in the region.
