Hurriyat leader’s killing: UJC chief Syed Salahuddin slams ‘traitors of our own nation’
Srinagar, Nov 20:United Jihad Council (UJC) chairman and Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin on Tuesday termed the killing of Hurriyat leader Mir Hafizullah as part of a well-planned scheme and said the sacrifices of “martyrs” will not go waste.
A spokesperson of UJC Syed Sadaaqat Hussain in a statement issued to GNS quoted Syed Salahuddin as saying in a high level meeting, “On one hand, the mujahideen are sacrificing their precious lives while fighting the occupational forces, and on other side, some paid agents of our own nation are acting as informers. These traitors are playing the role of Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq”.
Salahuddin as per the spokesperson said “the selective killing of Hurriyat activists is an ample proof of India’s defeat”.
“The human rights bodies must take notice of genocide carried out by Indian forces in Kashmir,” he said.
Syed Salahuddin further said that history is witness to the fact that the traitors met awful doom, and the mujahideen like Tipu Sultan are glorified as the symbol of success.
