BJP leader appeals militants not to kill innocent people
Srinagar: BJP National Vice President Youth Ajaz Ahmed Wednesday expressed concern over the threatening posters allegedly issued by a militant groupl.
A purported poster that has gone viral on social media claims that Ajaz Hussain will be gunned down if he doesn’t resign from BJP.
Ajaz Hussain who is an Engineer by profession told news agency CNS that gun is not a solution to any problem. “I don’t believe in violence. There are so many people affiliated with political parties. Why militants are so selective that they target only a couple of politicians and threaten to kill them. I am not the only one who is associated BJP. There are so many people who are related to other parties. Why militants threaten BJP leaders only,” he questioned.
Ajaz Hussain said that he has joined BJP for a cause. “There is misconception in India that people from Kashmir are anti social elements. Wherever I go, I plead the case of people of Kashmir. I don’t understand why I am being targeted when I have done nothing that could harm people of Kashmir,” he said and appealed militant groups to stop killing innocent people.(CNS)
