GOOD NEWS FOR AIRTEL USERS: Bharti Airtel is Offering Unlimited Calls, SMS and 1GB Data for 28 Days Under Rs 100

Bharti Airtel has come up with a reply to Jio’s Rs 98 tariff plan. The leading telecom operator has revised its Rs 93 tariff plan for select users and is now offering benefits of unlimited local, STD and & calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB data. And these benefits are valid for 28 days from the date of recharge. But again, this plan is valid for select Airtel prepaid users, but a majority of users in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle are eligible for this tariff plan. Also, we checked for this plan’s availability in Delhi, Mumbai and several other circles, and found out that the plan is valid for select users itself. Hereby we confirm that this plan is applicable only to select Airtel users.

Also, do make a note that this Rs 93 tariff plan is showing up only on Airtel’s website. Unfortunately, My Airtel application is not showing this offer for some unknown reasons. We thought this offer as a technical glitch and went ahead to recharge it as well. Turns out to be the offer is a genuine one as you can see in the image below.

So at just Rs 93, Airtel is providing unlimited voice calls including roaming calls without any FUP limit. All the Airtel prepaid users are eligible for this Rs 93 plan, and the benefits are same too, but the validity will just be ten days. But for some users, the validity is 28 days.

Airtel has revised this plan especially to compete with Reliance Jio’s recent entry-level tariff plan introduction. At just Rs 98, the Mukesh Ambani-led telco is offering 2GB of data and unlimited voice calls. That double the data of Airtel’s tariff plan.

While Reliance Jio is ahead of Airtel in terms of data offering, Airtel is ahead of Jio in the SMS offering. The Rs 98 tariff plan of Jio gives just 300 SMS, while in the Airtel offer it’s 100 SMS per day which makes in 2800 SMS for the entire validity period of 28 days.

After an array of offers, Airtel has been silent for a week now. After revising the entry-level Rs 399 postpaid plan, the company hasn’t done anything new this week, but this revision is a much-needed one for the telco to retain the subscriber base. Airtel is rumoured to be working closely with device manufacturers to bring a 4G smartphone at Rs 500. Also, the telco is said to introduce an even version of Rs 93 tariff plan around Rs 60 or Rs 70 very soon.
