Jasia selected for India camp, first woman cricketer from Kashmir to get call

Jasia Akhtar on Sunday became first ever female cricketer from Kashmir and second from J&K to get selection for the Indian women national cricket camp
Jasia Akhtar who hails from Shopian district of Kashmir has been representing Punjab in national arena. She has been selected for the camp owing to her performance in various national level events.

She recently lead her team LIC Chandigarh to the title glory of Queens India Cup. The event was organized by Sehwag Cricket Academy and she played brilliant knock in final.

Jasia has to report for the camp at National Cricket Academy on September 18. She is first ever female cricketer from Kashmir to get selection for the camp. She is second overall in J&K after Roopali Slathia
