Air traffic from Srinagar International Airport was resumed on Sunday after remaining suspended due to snowfall and poor visibility since January 6.

An official told Rising Kashmir, two flights landed at the airport following improvement in the weather conditions though there was light snowfall this morning.

“Visibility is now good and we hope all incoming and outgoing flights will operate now,” he said.

He said no flight could take off or land at the Srinagar airport due to very poor visibility in the morning. However, he said, weather has now improved after morning snowfall. He said snow on the runway was cleared yesterday.
